Dr Brayden Varcoe

Respiratory Physician

Respiratory Physician Brayden graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2016, completing his internship, residency and basic physician training in the Hunter New England local health district. He has gained a broad experience in respiratory medicine completing specialty training at Wollongong hospital, Canberra hospital and the John Hunter hospital. 

Brayden is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand and holds affiliate membership with the European respiratory society. He is currently completing post fellowship training in sleep medicine at the John Hunter hospital and in this role has presented research at national and international conferences. 

Brayden has an interest in all aspects of respiratory medicine but holds particular interest in airways disease, pulmonary infectious diseases, lung cancer and pleural medicine. He currently consults and admits to Lake Macquarie Private hospital and is actively involved in their lung cancer multi-disciplinary team.
